Dear God, You know my whole life's situation - from the child abuse, to the hardships of growing up, to the violent, abusive marriage I had to walk away from, only to be punished afterward by my aunt's husband, whose obsession with me led him to destroy me in body, mind, and soul. He verbally abused me and ruined my reputation so no other man would ever want me. Lord, in all I have suffered, these past two years have been the worst, with my aunt and her husband bullying me until I was terrified, living in a dark place where I just wanted my life to end. Thankfully, I sought the right help and have come a long way this past year. Father, I have tried to make my life better. I prayed to pass my driving test and gain my independence, and that prayer failed. I prayed to restore the family and friends I have lost, and that prayer failed. I prayed for my passport to be issued in time for the holiday my uncle gave me on the anniversary of when the suicidal torture began, and that prayer failed too. Lord Jesus Christ, I beg You from the depths of my heart - rebuke any curse placed on me and my life, and remove every barrier and obstacle blocking my happiness and future. Jesus, You are my witness. While suffering, I stayed strong, I cared for the sick and the dying even when I barely had the strength to get out of bed. You saw my kindness taken advantage of. You know the cross I have carried, and like You, I have not given up. These past eight weeks, after every prayer seems to have failed, it is taking all my strength to hold on. Dear Lord, I come before You asking for Your divine intervention, to pour down Your grace and grant me my passport before my holiday. I applied back in May and still have no update, as there is a backlog and first-time applications are taking even longer than renewals. Lord, I have been through almost two years of trauma. I was verbally abused and bullied to the point where I thought of ending my own life, because I could see no way forward. With the help of my uncle, his wife, and their children, I have come a long way in my recovery. My uncle has treated me to my very first holiday away with his family in July, but it does not seem like my passport will arrive in time. Customer service told me there is no guarantee and it is unlikely I will receive it. Jesus, I trust in You to do this special favour for me. The holiday falls on the same occasion as a gathering of those who put me through the abuse. If I am left behind, I will spend days worrying about what might happen, with alcohol involved and these people who are meant to be family possibly starting the abuse all over again. I cannot bear the thought of being dragged back into that suicidal torture. Please, Lord, grant me my passport in this next week or so, and take me away from the place where those who hurt me will gather. Please, please, Lord Jesus, do this favour for me. I trust in You. Dear God, I come before You asking Your divine intervention. With just five days left until my driving test, my nerves and anxiety are rising high. I've put so much effort, time, and money into this over the past year to gain my own independence and be able to stand on my own two feet. I'm over 35 years old and live alone, and I've been depending on my mum for everything, which is so hard on her as she's my granddad's carer. She drives me 40 miles twice a week to get to my lessons, and there's so much pressure and stress on us both to be home on time for medication to be given at the right times. With traffic delays, we're not always sure we'll make it. Please, Jesus, keep a safe hand over me as I drive. Help me stay focused and functional. Let me answer any questions correctly that the examiner gives me on the day. I've carried a very heavy cross in life, all due to people closest to me. Please, Lord Jesus, don't let any complications come before me, my driver's licence, or my theory certificate. Let all go well and successfully for me. Pour down Your special graces upon me for all the sufferings I've been through. I beg You, let things change and pick up for me. Let all lies that have been spread about me by family be exposed. Bring the truth to light in a safe and protecting manner, and restore to me all that I have lost because of my auntie and her husband. I've lost family bonds and connections. Dear Lord, I come before You with a lonely and heavy heart. You know my whole life's situation - what I went through as a child with my father, marrying at seventeen to a jealous, controlling husband. Through numerous separations I hoped he would change his ways, but his promises never lasted, and every broken promise only worsened his behaviour because he knew I loved him and was fighting to save our marriage. He fell into serious drug addiction, making things so much worse. I tried so hard for fifteen years. Out of that marriage we only truly lived together for about six years between all the separations and jail sentences. Two years ago I learned he was using heroin, and I knew I had to walk away for good, because the violence and control were never going to end. Yet my auntie and her husband destroyed my life with lies that I was unfaithful. Lord, this was never the case - I stayed faithful, loving my husband with no love in return. Jesus, I trust in You to reveal the full truth of what has been done to me. I have finally found the strength to apply for my divorce and annulment, to do things right before You. Please, for the cross I have carried all my life, let this be a turning point. Pour down Your special grace upon me. Let me find someone who will love and care for me for the person I truly am, who will love and respect me as I deserve. I have carried such a heavy cross since childhood. I am thirty-five years old and still suffering. Please let others treat me as I treat them. I am not a bad person - I never have been. I love and care so deeply for people. Please help me find new friends and family. Jesus, I trust in You. I surrender my life to You, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
