YouVersion is one of the most popular Bible apps for Iphone or android. It includes many “thousands” of different translations as well as a catalogue of audio content from some of the most well-known pastors and teachers. The YouVersion Bible App also offers audio versions so that you can listen to the Bible on the go. It has resources to link you with daily reading plans and devotionals.

You can set daily reminders to help you stay engaged with the Bible and you can view the verse of the day. The YouVersion App also includes many study features to help you understand what you are reading. This app also allows you to compare each verse between two different translations.

This app claims to be 100% free with no ads or purchases.

The Olive Tree Bible App is another great resourse when it comes to studying the Word of God which includes many different translations. This app also includes features that help you meet your Bible reading goals by allowing you to set a goal for youself in the app and showing you your progress in real time.

You can easily take notes, highlight passages, and bookmark verses or chapters to easily find them again later. You can also choose from a wide variety of bible reading plans.

The Olive Tree offers a free version as well as paid versions of the app that offers advanced features and additional resources.

This is a Bible app that is personalized for women, complete with a pink color scheme to be more attractive for female readers. While the app only offers the King James Version at this time, it offers daily devotions, reading plans, daily Bible verses, and audio playback of the scripture to help keep you engaged with the Word of God.

The app is completely free and works even if you have no internet connection, so you can be sure that you will always have access no matter where you are.

This app is exclusive to android devices.

Although you can read the Bible in this app, the translation selection is small compared to other Bible apps, however, the main purpose of this app is to provide tools, podcasts, and videos to bring the Bible to help users enjoy and understand the bible. The Books of the Bible are organized according to categories(Torah, Historical, Wisdom, Major Prophets, Minor Prophets, Gospels, Letters, and Apocalypse)

This app includes nearly 200 animated videos on a wide variety of topics, 38 podcast series, 5 Classes(each with multiple sessions), a study through the Hebrew Torah[Old Testament], and 29 studies on various Biblical topics all produced by the BibleProject.

This app is full of animations and animated images and it would make a great bible app for youth and young people.

This app allows you to read and study the Bible across many different translations and gives you the ability to study each word for its original meaning. With this app, you can compare the verses across several different translations, cross reference verses, and find commentaries related to the verse you are studying.

The Logos Bible Study App allows you to have different tasks open at the same time which are organized into an innovative tablike system, similar to browser tabs. You can create your own reading plans not only from books of the Bible but with any of the many other Christian books and commentaries that are also available through the app.

One unique feature of this app is the ability to photograph and scan any printed document to search for Scriptures. If you have a church bulletin or even a written list of scriptures from the Sunday sermon, the app will take you to the scriptures in the Bible.

The Life Bible App is available on both Android and iPhone and offers a variety of tools to help you study the Holy Scriptures. The Blue Letter Bible is another great app for studying the scriptures, with over 30 translations to choose from. This is my favorite app and I have used it for many years as a dependable and effective, yet simple study tool. This app is free and you never have to worry about unwanted adds while reading the Bible.

This app is available for Android and Apple. It has several useful features such as an interlinear word-for-word breakdown of each verse. The app allows select any word to see the original Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic words and their meanings and you can also compare each verse across the different translations. Verses can be highlighted, favorited, shared, or underlined, bookmarks can be added, and notes can be taken.

One of the biggest strengths of this simple, yet useful app is its extensive audio commentary library, complete with high-quality audio recordings from many pastors, teachers, and scholars.

I pray that each of us would make the Bible a part of our daily life. The Bible is the living and active Word of Almighty God, it has been referred to as God’s love letter to mankind and God’s roadmap for life and life more abundantly.
