Sometimes the heaviness of life takes its toll on our hearts and minds, sometimes our trials seem to multiply out of thin air, and sometimes it seems like the weight of the world is resting on our shoulders.
When the trails of life seem to drag you down, the Bible reminds us, time and time again, that we can Cast our Burdens on Him! Thanks be to God that we have a Heavenly Father who cares so much for us!!
God’s Great Love for you is the reason that you can Cast all your Burdens on him.
God’s love for you is greater than you can ever imagine. In fact, if you are reading this right now, it means that God is thinking of you. God wants to remind you just how much he cares for you!
The very same God who created the heavens and the earth, the same God who formed the mountains and the seas, the same God who hung the stars in the sky is the very same God who loves you and wants to take away All your Burdens!

1 Peter 5: 7 Says: “ Cast all your cares upon Him, for he cares for you.”
In this short scripture I want to point your attention to the word “ALL”. Whatever trouble, problem, or sorrow you have, you can take it to Jesus! It doesn’t matter how big or how small; God can take it all!
Psalm 55: 22
Psalm 55: 22 “Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He shall never allow the righteous to be shaken”
Deuteronomy 31: 6
Deuteronomy 31: 6 Says: “Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your GOD is the who who goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you”
When God is for us, no one can be against us. God is reminding you that you have nothing to fear. The Bible says “be strong and courageous” and “do not be afraid”, because God is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you!
Matthew 11: 28-30
Jesus said in Matthew 11: 28-30: “28 Come unto to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”.
In this day and age we get so busy with everything going on around us that we sometimes become so tired…we are “heavy laden” with the cares of this life. But Jesus says to come to Him and He will give you rest. My friend, Jesus is calling you to come to Him right now and Cast All your Burdens at His feet.
Philippians 4: 6-7
Philippians 4: 6-7: “6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Whatever you have need of and whatever your fears, just bring them before the Lord with thanksgiving and the Word says that God will give you a peace that passes all understanding. Come to Him today!
Matthew 6: 34
Matthew 6: 34:” 34 So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
God is saying, “don’t worry about tomorrow, I’ve got it covered”, God knows the things that you need and if you just put your trust in Him, he will not let you down.
Psalm 23: 4
Psalm 23: 4: “Yea, though i walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, i will fear no evil: for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”
Matthew 6: 25
Matthew 6: 25: “Therefore I say unto you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will bring; nor for your body as to what you will put on, is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”
1 Corinthians 10: 13:
1 Corinthians 10: 13: “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.”
Romans 8: 35&37
Romans 8: 35&37: “ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shat tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? …37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us.”
You are a more than a conqueror in Jesus Christ!
Isaiah 12: 2
Isaiah 12: 2: “ Behold, God is my salvation, i will trust and not be afraid, for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and song; and He has become my salvation.”
You can place your trust in Him and He will be your salvation.
John 16: 33
John 16: 33: “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, But take courage; I have overcome the world”
Here Jesus tells us that, sure, we will have hard times, but we can take heart and be encouraged because He has already overcome the world. Through the victory of Christ, you too are an OVERCOMER! Hallelujah!
A Short Prayer to Cast All Our Burdens on Christ
Lord God, we thank you for showing us through your Holy Scriptures that we can cast all of our burdens on you. Lord, you see my heart and you see the heavy burdens that I bear…OH God please take these burdens from me this day and replace them with your love, joy, and peace.
